Grandmothers & Orphans Support Project

Kitovu Mobile's Grandmothers and OVC Support Project has since 2006 addressed social protection needs of grandmothers and their Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs) affected by HIV/AIDS.

The project has supported over 1,652 grandmothers in eight sub-counties with up to 102 grandmothers' groups graduated, building resilience and restoring hope.

Creating Dignity & Security for Elderly

Strengthening Government Monitoring

Social Protection & Accountability

Strengthening government and non-governmental monitoring mechanisms for implementation of Uganda's social policies in Kyotera District.

Key Activities:

  • • Feedback meetings with implementation teams

Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene blended with environmental protection for sustainable community health.

Economic Empowerment

Livelihoods Restoration Project

Kitovu Mobile is implementing the Enterprise Development Project under the Livelihood Restoration Program by the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) in Ssembabule and Rakai Districts.

In partnership with Asigma Capital Advisory Services Limited, the program provides hands-on and business management skills to Project Affected Persons (PAPs).
